Dr Elton takes a patient-centred approach to dentistry, believing the best outcomes come from educating patients and working together to create a treatment plan that suits their individual needs. He is a strong advocate for preventive and maintenance-based care, recognising that long-term oral health plays an important role in overall well-being and quality of life.
Known for his calm, approachable manner and country-style friendliness, Dr Elton helps patients of all ages feel comfortable and at ease. He has supported many patients who have had previous negative dental experiences, regaining confidence in seeking care. For those who feel anxious, he offers a range of sedation options, including sleep dentistry, nitrous oxide, and oral sedation to create a safe and stress-free experience.
Committed to continual growth and excellence, Dr Elton regularly attends study clubs and continuing professional development courses to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
His clinical interests include surgical dentistry, particularly complex wisdom tooth removal, single and multiple dental implants, and guided bone regeneration. He was awarded Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) in September 2025, has completed further implant training with the Australian Implant Academy, and is undertaking advanced study in full-arch implant rehabilitation in 2026.
Dr Elton also has a strong interest in endodontics and enjoys managing complex molar root canal treatments and retreatment cases. He completed a Mini Residency in Endodontics through the IDEA Institute in San Francisco, where he trained under Dr John West, pioneer of the ProTaper endodontic system.
In addition, he provides smile rehabilitation through aligner treatment, crowns, and veneers, helping patients restore both function and confidence. With a keen interest in digital dentistry, Dr Elton integrates modern technologies such as intraoral scanning, digital treatment planning, and 3D printing into everyday clinical care.
