Is Flossing Really Necessary?

Or is it just one more thing to fill up my busy day? Well, all our dentists are regular flossers, and there’s no doubt that those patients who floss end up with less decay and restoration. The reason? Plaque is the cause of decay and gum disease – the longer you leave it at work on your teeth, the more damage it’s going to do. Regular flossing prevents the build up of plaque and means you’ll spend less time in the chair.
